Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia (BCBSGa) now offers a new package for seniors in the state of Georgia that include dental and vision benefits as well as other benefits, such as older adult care services, travel assistance and behavioral health services.

Georgia Extras Packages are designed to complement a Medicare Supplement plan or Original Medicare. Premiums vary from $17 to $43 per month, depending on the package.

Georgia Extras Packages covers teeth and eyes, as well as physical fitness and emotional well-being, which are all equally important for your overall health.

Georgia Extras Packages offers the following:

•Standard – a basic package with preventive dental and standard vision benefits.
•Premium – a more robust package featuring preventive dental (including coverage for fillings, periodontal services, root canals and extractions), a standard vision plan, older adult care support resources, and a member assistance program with counseling services.
•Premium Plus – the most comprehensive features dental, robust vision plan,  older adult care support resources, a member assistance program and travel assistance for those who encounter a medical emergency while traveling.
